Bobby Babbrah

Bobby Babbrah is an operating executive specializing in growth strategy/M&A, digital innovation, and go-to-market for global SaaS, Ed-Tech and Talent-Tech companies.  As Managing Partner of Flipp.ED Ventures, his firm advises Private Equity and Venture Funds on the k12, higher ED and workplace education landscape, and actively works with portfolio companies on global growth, go-to-market, innovation and M&A. 

 

Flipp.ED Ventures has an impact mission to bridge the skills and talent divide between education and employment. In the workforce sector, Bobby specializes in talent upskilling for jobs in the new skills economy, preparing educators and employers on the impact of Automation/AI on future jobs.  

Previously, Bobby was Chief Strategy Officer at Cayuse, connecting the global academic and scientific research community.  As Chief Digital Officer at Penn Foster Education, he led B2B and B2C digital strategy and go-to-market operations to create competency-based learning and employment outcomes for 170,000+ adult learners in middle-skilled occupations. Prior to that, Bobby led innovation and business-model transformations for major learning platform companies such as McGraw Hill Education (SVP Learning Platforms), Archipelago Learning (EVP) and Pearson Education (VP platforms), launching and scaling some of the most widely used products and platforms in k12 and HigherED.  Earlier in his career, Bobby has held EVP/COO, President/GM and CTO roles at B2B SaaS companies such as LawLogix, ImageTag and InfoImage respectively, where he led growth and customer operations while pioneering print and digital technologies, enterprise messaging, knowledge management and security solutions. 

 

Bobby is an active education-sector and SaaS investor in the US and India and serves on several director and advisory boards. As former Venture Partner at Learn Launch he has worked with several startups shaping the new skills economy. Through the Babbrah Family Foundation, his family is committed to helping first-generation prospective college students gain access to higher education while increasing intergenerational social mobility. He lives with his family in Paradise Valley, Arizona and attended Arizona State University to receive his BS Computer Science, MS Computer Science and MBA.
